- 1 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Double cream
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1-2 tbsp butter (optional)
Instructions to make to make Paneer-chasni
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a grill pan.
- Arrange paneer cubes and grill on a medium heat, until golden colour on both the sides. This would out immersed in the gravy.....
- Now heat 1tbsp oil in a saucepan over a medium heat.
- Add Green cardamoms, Cloves, Cinnamon stick, onions, garlic and ginger paste and fry, stirring frequently, for 5-7 minutes until they are light brown and caramalised.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- When cool, blend onion mix and Roasted peppers to a smooth paste.
- Add the mango chutney and tomato sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add the double cream and simmer for a few more minutes.
- For an extra rich gravy, add the butter and stir until melted..
- Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
- Add paneer grilled pieces.
- Mix well and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Adjust the gravy consistency at this time if needed
